Hospital Equipment Anchorage

With few exceptions, all fixed equipment in acute care hospitals and skilled nursing facilities in California must be permanently anchored to the building structure. These anchorage systems must be designed and detailed by a licensed Structural Engineer and are extensively reviewed by engineers in the California Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development (OSHPD).
